Concerning the European Student Conference in Subotica, 1st of April 2016.
Together with the UNICA-network and ESN Serbia we are organising a round table student conference, called ‘THE GOLDEN WALL’, about immigration, democracy, European culture and identity, including students representing the 28 EU member states. The conference will take place in Subotica, Serbia, from the 31st of March until the 1st of April. The registration is free of charge, and all travel costs will be fully refunded. The president of the conference will be Philliphe Legrain, writer, economist and advisor of the European Commission president José Manuel Barroso from 2011 to 2014.
‘THE GOLDEN WALL` is also part of a special art project initiated by BOZAR, Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels, in the context of ‘NEXT GENERATION, PLEASE’, an exposition which will take place in May 2016 and which concerns how a new generation is reflecting about Europe. Former European President Herman Van Rompuy is godfather of this project.
We would like to ask if the ELTE University would like to become a partner of the project or help us by motivating Hungarian and Erasmus students studying at the ELTE University to participate at the conference. We are looking for 28 students with the 28 different EU nationalities studying in Budapest and Serbia.
More information and the full details about the project you may find on our website:
